Collaborative Partnerships

In 2024, the AAFDA made a considered decision to become members of Agricultural Shows Australia. This follows extensive communication with the ASA on benefits which could be shared by AAFDA members.

The ASA have followed up our collaboration with the following media release:

Announcement: Welcoming the Association of Agricultural Field Days of Australasia (AAFDA) as an Affiliate Member.

We are delighted to announce that the Association of Agricultural Field Days of Australasia (AAFDA) has joined ASA as an affiliate member. This partnership marks a significant milestone in strengthening the collective impact of agricultural field days and shows across the country.

Field Days and agricultural shows share many common purposes, including fostering community connections, showcasing innovation, and supporting rural and regional industries. Acknowledging that we are stronger together, this collaboration will bolster our advocacy efforts with key stakeholders and government, ensuring our united voice is heard of more effectively.

The partnership will also streamline resource sharing and enhance the delivery of programs and service, benefitting both organisations and the communities we serve.

Together, we look forward to reinforcing the vital roles we play in promoting agricultural excellence, supporting regional economies, and celebrating rural life.
